April 14, 2015, 11:04am 1 I have a physical Windows 7 machine that I am trying to convert to a VM running on RedHat.I have been following Chapter 5 of this guide ( ) to do the conversion with Virt P2V. I am able to capture and import the machine without problem; however, when I boot it, it blue screens. I am assuming this is due to the hardware that is expected no longer existing.How can I fix this or what alternative ways of P2V can I try? The bluescreen will usually contain information that will indicate what the problem is. With a converted VM it could be virtual hardware or driver incompatibility.
