Now if you are ready, let’s get fixing!You are running HijackThis from Temporary Files; please create a new folder for it (for example C:\Program Files\Hijackthis\Hijackthis.exe) and move the programme into it. It is very important you do this before anything else!To start please download the following programmes, we will run them later. Please save them to a place that you will remember, I suggest the Desktop:CCleanerEwido Security SuiteInstall Ewido, Update it and Scan Everything. When it finds the first infection it will sound an alarm and stop. At that point check the box for it to clean all (bottom left).This could take quite a while to complete, so get your golf clubs out and play 18 holes (you’ll have time). There is almost certainly bound to be some junk (leftover bits and pieces) on your system that is doing nothing but taking up space. I would recommend that you run CCleaner. Spybot detects webhancer but I dare not fix it as I read in some of the forums that upon removing, the link to the internet and such will be broken. Deleting WebHancer files may result in loss of your Internet connection.The suggested removal method is make sure WebHancer is installed and remove it using Windows Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.Symantec also has a Webhancer Removal Tool which you can try. This will help to identify and remove any malware files that may be responsible for your problems.Please read and follow all instructions in the pinned topic titled "Preparation Guide For Use Before Posting A Hijackthis Log". About half way down are instructions for downloading HijackThis and creating a log.When you have done that, post a log in the HijackThis Logs and Analysis Forum, NOT here, for assistance by the HJT Team Experts.
